Daniel is originally from Chile but has been practicing Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic for the last 15 years. He is currently the Associate Dean for Continuous Professional Development. He is a knowledge broker who has focused in the creation of new educational tools and learning environments.
Kharmene has been practicing Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, since 2010. She is Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and the Simulation Director for the Mayo Clinic EM Residency. She serves as the EM Diversity Leader with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community. She is the Medical Director for the Mayo Clinic Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program and is currently developing a Telehealth delivery model for the care of sexually assaulted patients in underserved areas.
